Delete your Trekov account

You can delete your account and everything in it yourself, from inside the app. If you can't get into the app, write to us and we will do it for you.

In the app

No app on this phone? You can do the same thing in a browser at trekov.com/app — sign in, open the You tab, then Delete account.

By email

Write to trekonvibes@gmail.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my Trekov account. We will confirm and delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in and email address
• Your profile: handle, name, bio and photo
• Every photo you posted, and the image files themselves
• Your reviews, ratings, likes and comments
• Your saved places
• Your trips, and your place on trips other people host
• The notification tokens for your phones

What stays, and for how long

• Anything held on your own phone stays there until you uninstall the app or clear its data — deleting the account does not reach into the device.
• Our host keeps encrypted backups for a short period; deleted data ages out of them on its own.
• Payment records, if you ever paid for a plan, are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your live location is never stored on our servers, so there is nothing of it to delete.

Who runs Trekov

Changed your mind?

Deletion cannot be undone, and a deleted handle can be taken by someone else. If you only want to step away, sign out instead — signing out leaves everything on the device and deletes nothing.
