Terms of use
Last updated 14 September 2026
Plain terms for using Trekov. By using the app you agree to them.
Riding safely is on you. Trekov shows a route and where your group is. It cannot see the road. Do not operate the app while riding or driving, follow the traffic laws and the signs in front of you, and treat every route, arrival time and place listing as a suggestion that may be wrong or out of date.
Your account
- One account is for one person. Keep your sign-in to yourself.
- You must be 18 or older to use Trekov.
- Tell us if someone else gets into your account.
What you post
Your photos, reviews and trips stay yours. By posting them publicly you allow Trekov to store and show them inside the app to other people using it — nothing more. Delete a post and that permission ends with it.
Do not post what is not yours to post, anything unlawful, anything designed to mislead people about a place, or anything that harasses somebody. There is no tolerance on Trekov for objectionable content or abusive users: no sexual or nude content, no hate or threats, no violence, no spam. We can remove content and close accounts that do.
Anyone can report a photo, review, comment or profile, and block a person, from inside the app. We review reports within 24 hours, remove what breaks these rules and close the accounts behind it.
Group trips
- The host decides who is on a trip, and can remove a rider at any time.
- Sharing your live location is your choice, and you can switch it off at any moment.
- Making a trip an open ride lists it for other riders to find and ask to join. It does not make the trip's contents public, and the host approves every rider.
- Who you ride with is up to you. Trekov does not check anyone's identity and is not part of what happens on a trip.
Places, prices and partners
Place details, opening times, photos, ratings and anything about fuel, food or stays come from Google, from OpenStreetMap, from businesses themselves and from other people using the app. They can be wrong. Check before you rely on them. Where a listing is a paid placement or carries an affiliate link, it is marked as such.
Paid plans
If a paid plan is offered, the price and what it covers are shown before you pay, and payment is handled by Razorpay. Unless the law where you live says otherwise, payments already made are not refundable, but you can cancel at any time and keep the plan until its term ends.
What we do not promise
Trekov is provided as it is. We try to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption, that a route is the best or safest one, or that any information in it is correct. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss that follows from using the app — including anything that happens on a trip.
Ending it
You can delete your account whenever you like, in the app or through this page. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other people at risk.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat have jurisdiction.
